On October 11 in beijing, Michael Tiemann, the vice president of open source affairs in Red Hat, said that Microsoft has not tell the truth about open source software, he did not agree with Microsoft's argument that open-source software need to use Microsoft's permit.
Michael Tiemann is also the Chair of Open Source Code Association, he said that Novell owes the open source communities a apology, In the agreement of Novell and Microsoft, the GPL was not appropriate applicated.
