Beijing Lingtu Software, the renowned electronic navigation map provider of China, launched a full release of internet-based "virtual earth" products - LTEarth. This is the launch of the map after 51ditu network maps in the field once again hit hard, the product has test in small-scale on July 26. Industry analysis, Lingtu towards the future of personal electronic navigation maps and the internet operators in the market strategy is becoming increasingly visible.

The China has canceled the proposal which requires all bloggers in the country to register their real identities. The government-regulated Internet Society of China (ISC) said that real-name registration would now only be "encouraged" but not required, according to the Xinhua news agency. Blog service providers will be required to take measures to ensure the privacy of those who have chosen to register so that there are no concerns over identity theft.
